$100 technician fees charged for Xfinity fixing their connection, filing an FCC complaint.
This is insane. I haven't even had the service for a month.
I just opened service for Xfinity. My service was set to be $70 a month. No matter what I did the modem would not connect. They wasted my time for two weeks and I didn't have internet.Random dudes from India or Indoesnia consistently having me repeat the same troubleshooting steps with new avail. Additionally they give me a free line for "the inconvenience" and so I would be able to connect in the meantime which they are now asking a activation fee for, when previously, i was told by three separate representatives over the phone there is no additional cost AND NO ACTIVATION FEES. The service technician came in and told me that the patch panel was disconnected by the previous technician and that NOTHING WAS WRONG WITH MY ARRIS S34 SURFBOARD MODEM that was purchased brand new. I have clarified this to the customer service lady today and she placed me on hold FOR TWO HOURS when I questioned her. She said "Those representatives would understand get terminated for giving false information" yes those were exact words. Then she said after 30 mins that she would talk to a supervisor. She then placed me on hold FOR TWO HOURS. THANK GOD FOR IOS 26 because it told me that they hung up and never even picked up. I called back and the system kept purposely stalling me by calling and saying all lines are busy. BUT ONCE AGAIN, I switched Esims and called them back, THESE GUYS ANSWERED AND CONNECTED ME LIKE THAT TO THE EXACT SAME BILLING DEPARTMENT.
XFINITY YOU SUCK. You arent slick. You are deceptive. and you trying to fist me out $200 when the intial contract was $70 a month to begin with.
The irony is the first tag of your own forum is your customer service is terrible and youre a scummy company.
Today I wake up with no Internet service bc they attempted to bill the set spending card I tied the free line to in case of them doing this.
