Bad Business Practices

I have been a Comcast customer for well over 20 years and when I need help from them they were very unwilling and rude. My residence caught fire and I could no longer use the service. I’m a single Dad and have a young daughter. We had to move because of this. I called Comcast a couple of weeks later as there was much going on. Comcast said to pay $243.42 and return the equipment. I did both. They kept billing me. I did a live chat which I have the full chat saved and was told those charges would be removed  and that they were removed during this chat. They were not removed. I called and made my way to a supervisor who could not have been more rude and said they have a business to run and will not remove those charges, Keep in mind I was told they already were by Comcast rep on a live chat. The supervisor also said I should have called that day and that it was my problem and I must pay. They could not provide service if they wanted to as major repairs were necessary. Then said I terminated my contract early and will have to pay for that as well. I recorded the audio from that conversation for quality purposes and made her aware of this. The audio and chat are a must hear and read as they will be made available to all. The bill remains outstanding and I was informed they will collect. If someone with Authority reads this please help!!!

user_6va8uy Thank you so much for your post for help with your billing after you requested a disconnect. A house fire is never easy, and we are glad you are alright and able to give us a chance to help. If you could send our team a direct message with your full name, the name listed on the account (if different), and the service address associated with your account, I'd be more than happy to look into this for you. To send a Direct Message, please click on the chat icon in the top-right corner of the screen, next to the bell icon, and then type or select "Xfinity Support" to initiate a direct message.
