Be careful they are charging your account without concent
I am extremely disappointed with Xfinity. They charged my account an extra payment that I never authorized. When I contacted customer service, I was told I would receive a refund next month. That is not acceptable. I want to know where and when I supposedly authorized this payment. Show me the authorization, because I never approved it.
Customers should not have to wait a month to get back money that was taken without permission. It makes me wonder how many other people have been charged for unauthorized payments without realizing it because they didn't check their bank accounts.
I've been a loyal customer for years, but this experience has completely broken my trust. My monthly bill is around $88, yet I'm being charged $120 every other month with no authorization. I cannot afford unexpected charges like this. Unless this is resolved immediately, I will be taking my business elsewhere and looking for another provider.
This is unacceptable and should never happen to any customer.

Could you please provide a little more detail about the extra payment in question? For example, was it a charge that appeared on your billing statement, or something else? Any additional information you can share will help us better understand the situation and work together towards a resolution.
I also want to provide some clarification regarding refunds. You do not necessarily need to wait a month to receive a refund from Xfinity. If an overpayment has been made that exceeds a full month of your Xfinity service charges, refund options are available based on the payment method used:
Credit card payments: Refunds can be issued back to the same card used for payment. Once processed, refunds typically appear within 3–5 business days.
Cash, check, money order, check-by-phone, or electronic funds transfer (EFT): Refunds can be processed after 15 calendar days, or sooner if documentation is provided showing the payment has cleared your financial institution. In those cases, Xfinity will send an email with instructions for securely uploading the required documents.
If supporting documentation is not provided, the 15-day waiting period must be completed before the refund can be issued either back to the original payment method or via a prepaid card. What to expect with a refund from Xfinity (https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/refunds-from-xfinity).
As a friendly reminder your monthly bill provides a detailed breakdown of your account charges and can be viewed anytime by signing in online or through the Xfinity app. On page 3 of the billing details, you'll find your monthly recurring service charges, any promotional discounts currently applied to your account, and the dates those promotions are scheduled to expire.
If a promotion has recently ended, we'd be happy to review your account with you and revisit your service needs to ensure you're receiving the best value possible. Our team can go over available promotional offers and package options together, including the same offers and deals that may be available when managing your services online through your Xfinity account. We're always happy to help you find the plan that best fits your needs and budget.
