Billing before Activation
Hi,
I ordered Xfinity Internet on 18th July and received the XFi gateway on 23rd July. However I don't plan on activating my device until 1st September.
I have reported this multiple times to Xfinity Chat Support.
However, a bill has been generated on 23rd July with auto-pay scheduled for 13th August. I expect my billing cycle to begin from the day i choose to activate my device.
Can someone kindly reverse the current bill? The amount is $46.81.

@vjg7 Thanks for bringing your concerns to our attention. Our team can certainly help. Normally we would set the order up and delay your start date this would delay shipping equipment and the bill start date. Can you please direct message me your first and last name along with your full service address so that I can assist you further?
Here's the detailed steps to direct message us:

• Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
• Type "Xfinity Support" in the to line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list
• Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
• Press Enter to send your message.
