Billing Dispute - Request to Waive $100 Technician Fee for Outdoor Infrastructure Repair

Hello,
I am writing to dispute a $100 technician appointment Installation fee on Oct 11 that has been applied to my current bill.
I am an existing customer who experienced a sudden, total loss of connection for Internet and Cable serivces. A technician was dispatched to my home on 10/11, and upon inspection, determined that the root cause of the outage was entirely outside my home. The technician had to climb the utility pole behind my backyard to repair a loose network connection.
Per Xfinity’s billing policies, customers are not responsible for maintenance or repairs to outside lines, neighborhood poles, or Comcast-owned infrastructure. Because no repairs were made to my inside wiring or personal equipment, this fee was applied in error.
Please review the technician's work order notes for my appointment and issue a $100 credit to my account to remove this charge. Thank you.

Hello user_v3buwe thanks so much for taking time out of your day to reach out here via our Xfinity Forums with these billing concerns.  A technician fee can be charged for various reasons, and this also depends on the service type. We would be happy to review the account to help with this issue.
