Billing Dispute – Service Disconnected June 8, 2025
I need help resolving an incorrect bill after disconnecting my Xfinity internet service.
I initiated disconnection on June 4th, 2025, and on June 8th the router was disconnected.
I returned the equipment on June 21, 2025.
Despite this, I am still being billed for service after June 8 until August, including late fees, which should not apply.
Within 10 business days, I am requesting that Comcast/Xfinity:
Provide a complete, itemized billing ledger showing exactly how any allegedly outstanding balance was calculated, including dates of service and any pro-ration calculations after June 8, 2025.
Correct my account to remove all charges, late fees, or collection placements that result from billing errors after the internet services were stopped. If any legitimate balance remains for service used prior to June 8, please clearly identify the exact amount and date ranges.
I have documentation of my disconnection request, router return, and billing statements, which I can provide as a PDF with supporting photos if needed.
Please advise on the next steps and ensure this matter is corrected promptly before it escalates further.
