Billing Doubled with No Warning

My bill mysteriously jumped from $35 to $86 with no warning from Xfinity. I was even in a store two weeks ago and they did not mention a thing. I’ve had it with these insane price jumps and lack of communication

Hi there, @user_uksq0r! Thanks for reaching out to us here on the Community Forum. The most common reason that your bill would increase is because you may have come off of a promotional rate. In the spirit of transparency, we provide a listing of the active promotions, the amount saved, and the end date on each and every billing statement. It would be under your services in green text. If you are doing paperless billing, you can check your statements with the directions here : https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/view-xfinity-billing-history Taking a look at your previous statement would show if there is a promotion coming to and end. Check that out and let me know if that is the case and if you need further assistance or help looking in to other eligible rates, please send a direct message to us by clicking the chat icon in the upper right corner of the page, click on the pen and paper icon, then enter “Xfinity Support” in the “To” section. Please include your full name and complete street address, and we would be happy to help.

Hey there, @user_03f10h, thanks for reaching out through Xfinity Forums regarding your account and bill increase. We would be happy to take a look at the details to go over the statement with you. Can you please send us a Direct Message with your full name and your full address?

To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support:

Click "Sign In" if necessary

Click the "Direct Messaging" icon or https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging

Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there

- As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list

- An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line

Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

Press Enter to send it.
