Billing issues

I got my bill last month was $160 I called immediately and changed plans and I paid and the agent I was dealing with told me to pay 112 and it would even out next month now I see next month's bill is $180 what's the problem

user_6i10on Good morning! Thank you for reaching out to our Xfinity Forums Team for assistance with your billing. Depending on when the change was made in connection with your billing cycle, that would determine the adjustment amount. You should see the prorated adjustment on the current statement, and the dates. Since we only bill once a month, more than likely there was probably a carry over from last month if the full amount wasn't paid. Are you able to see the proration on your current statement?
