We don’t watch sports and don’t want to pay $20/mo for this
As long as your TV service includes Regional Sports channels you'll have to pay the Regional Sports fee. The only way to avoid it is to pick a TV package that does not have Regional Sports channels, if you can find one.

Hey @KS911, Thank you for visiting our official Xfinity Forums Community support page. We greatly appreciate you taking the time to reach out. The Regional Sports Network Fee is an itemized charge. It's based on the costs Xfinity incurs to provide regional sports networks to our Xfinity TV customers. These costs include the fees regional sports networks charge Xfinity to carry them on its cable systems, which are among the fastest growing components of the company's programming costs. The Regional Sports Network Fee isn’t included as part of Xfinity's promotional pricing or pricing under your contract and can increase during your promotion or contract.
The Regional Sports Fee is applied based on the video package on the Xfinity subscription. If there are sports channels included, the Regional Sports Fee charge will appear and cannot be removed.
