Card Processor Decline (INVALID INST. CODE)

I am getting

Card Processor Decline (INVALID INST. CODE) when trying to pay w/a gift card online. I tried by phone & get the same error message. I checked with the gift card issuer that I have a balance of $50, ehich is the amount I am trying to pay. Please accept my money.

Thanks for posting on our Community Forums for assistance with your payment concerns, user_q4rkht. Unfortunately, we do not accept gift cards as a payment method. The accepted methods would be:

Credit cards (American Express, Discover, Mastercard, Visa)
Debit cards (Mastercard, Visa)
ACH transfers from a U.S. checking or savings account
Mail-in payments (U.S. bank checks or cashier's checks)
