Charged ~$1,100 After Xfinity Failed to Disconnect My Old Address

I am extremely frustrated with how this situation has been handled.

I had Xfinity internet service at my previous Atlanta address from approximately October 2024 to October 2025, and I was the account owner. During that time, I used the service and properly paid my monthly bill.

When I moved to a new Atlanta address in October 2025, I specifically called Xfinity and clearly requested that service at my old address be discontinued and transferred to my new address. Xfinity acknowledged my request, and I also returned the modem associated with the old address.

The problem started after that transfer.

Last week, I discovered that Xfinity had continued charging me approximately ~$80- $100 every month for my old address, even though I had already moved, requested disconnection, returned the equipment, and was separately paying for Xfinity service at my new address.

Those incorrect charges now total approximately $1,100.

When I contacted customer service, I was initially told there was no record of my cancellation/transfer request. After escalating the issue, a supervisor acknowledged that I had been double-charged and that the charges for the old address after my move were invalid.

I was then told that only three months could be refunded. That is not an acceptable resolution. I properly notified Xfinity of my move and requested the transfer/disconnection. Xfinity’s failure to correctly process that request should not leave me responsible for nearly $1,100 in charges for service I was no longer using.

The supervisor specifically instructed me to post this issue on the Xfinity forum so the remaining refund could be reviewed and returned to my card. The supervisor acknowledged that it was definitely invalid charges all these months.

I am requesting a full refund of all charges made to my old address after my October 2025 transfer/disconnection request. I'm patiently, once again, requesting someone with the authority to resolve the full refund review my account and contact me.
