Charged after cancellation

I was charged nearly $50 almost a month after I cancelled my service. I paid for the last month of service and several days before that monthly service ended I cancelled. I went to my local xfinity store, they said I owed nothing and had nothing on my balance to pay. Then a month later I’m being charged $49.36 for “balance transfer” what??
