Collections Agents

I terminated my Xfinity service a few months ago. It was near the start of the billing cycle and  due to moving, so we went in person and returned everything. The "closing" was relatively easy until a month later we received a bill for the month, even though we had already moved out at that point. It’s not like we even had the option to transfer the service, due to the location of our home.
I tried contacting agents and calling but since the account was closed, speaking to someone about the issue was impossible. Now Collections agents are calling about this debt but it feels unfair to settle. I am really worried about this potentially affecting my credit score.

user_v26g3h Thank you so much for stopping for help with your billing after you disconnected your account. I would be happy to review those billing details for you and make sure you are not billed for time you did not have services.  If you could send our team a direct message with your full name, the name listed on the account (if different), and the service address associated with your account, I'd be more than happy to look into this for you. To send a Direct Message, please click on the chat icon in the top-right corner of the screen, next to the bell icon, and then type or select "Xfinity Support" to initiate a direct message.
