Collections showing up on credit report

I'm seeing Comcast showing up under collections on my credit report, and I have no idea what it is from. I'd like to talk to someone, but since I don't have a personal account I can't get through on the phone system. I also don't see where to send a direct message here. I think I may need create a post first - so that's what I'm doing.

Thanks!

Thank you so much for reaching out for help with us showing up on your collections report. I would also be looking more into any account that I know shouldn't be reporting,, so thank you for stopping in. To locate any account, we need a physical address to search. We are not able to search using SNN information to narrow down accounts for one customer at our level due to the precautions we take to help keep your personal and private information secure. Store locations may have access to search using other information. On some occasions, depending on the reporting agency, you may be able to locate an account number on the collections reporting that may help us locate the account but may not allow us to discuss any details with you.

If you have never had Xfinity and you think this is in error, you can use our Customer Security Assurance team's page to see how to fill out an Identity Theft claim form there as well.

If you do know the address and have access to the personal information that may be attached to the account in question, we would be able to help access the details and go over them with you. Have you had us in the past?

Hi Amanda, I can provide my prior address for the search, but I would prefer to do that via direct message (I now have that option). I sent a direct message to customer support a couple days ago but haven't gotten a message back. Is it possible to send you a direct message? Or are you able to see the one that I sent? Thanks!

• Type "Xfinity Support" in the "To:" line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list which appears. The "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
