Comcast Xfinity Sent Me To Collections.

I have an alert on my CR.  I did not receive a letter, at least not knowingly, about the details of this collection.  Did some digging on Experian and it looks like it's from Comcast Cable Communications.  Who do I contact to get details of this collection as I have no idea what it's for??

RoyyBatty Thank you for stopping in for help with this collection notice. We would be happy to help look into this for you, but we would need a little information to try to locate the account in question. Most of the time, the collections' agency does get an account number for the reported amount. They may not have the service address, but that is what we would need to try to locate any accounts in collections. I would try to see if there is a reported account number you can locate, and if you did have services with us in the past, compare that information to try to locate the address.

@XfinityAmandaB​ The only information I have is what I see on my Experian.  It does not show any sort of account number regarding Comcast.  It just tells me the original is Comcast Cable Communications.  For the past five years or so, the only service I've had though Comcast/Xfinity is internet service.

  • Type "Xfinity Support" in the "To:" line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list which appears. The "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
  • Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
  • Press Enter to send it

Hello. I received the same thing today an alert from the credit bureau for a collections from Comcast. It has destroyed my credit (down 102 points today) and I have no idea what it is for. It is from a collections agency. Have you had any success with Comcast/Xfinity?
