Customer since 2008 looking for retention offers before switching to Fidium
I have been a customer since 2008 (technically a lot longer under previous companies). Currently on a 1200Mbps plan for $80/month that expires in November. My dad just moved to the same town and has offers showing for $100/month for a 2Gbps plan for 5 years. When I called, the best number they would give me is $130/month for the same plan (after autopay discount) which is exactly what shows online.
I'm strongly considering switching to Fidium Fiber for $60/month for their 2Gbps plan.
I'm not using (nor do I need) mobile or any streaming services - only Internet. Before I cancel my line after 20 years due to pricing, is there a retention offer for Xfinity to keep my business? I don't get anywhere calling into standard support. I'd be fine with a 5 year the $100 price point for the 2Gbps. I have no problem with the autopay and own my own equipment that supports that speed.
