Do I qualify for internet essentials?

I am considering switching back to Xfinity internet if I qualify for the $9.95 internet essentials program.

We would love to have you back!  We would not be able to determine if you qualify here, but we do have a site for that purpose! What you would want to do is visit : https://www.xfinity.com/learn/internet-service/internet-essentials/apply to see if you meet any of the criteria to qualify and submit an application for Internet Essentials.

I see where I can apply but I don’t want service automatically started if I am eligible. Is there any way to find out and then let me decide if I want to make a change in my provider.?

Through the same link, there is an area just a bit down that would go over eligibility. You can always apply to find out as well, and I believe services wouldn't start until the equipment is activated.
