equipment charges

I closed my account after being displaced due to a home fire. I was told by an online agent that I would not be charged for lost equipment. I established services at a new address and was billed $620

I did not recieve an answer as to why I was charged after being directly told I would not be liable. I recieved an e-mail after my post with a $150 credit, but I was charged over $600. I want the entire equipment charge forgiven.

Thanks for getting back to us @user_i6meoa. The unreturned equipment charges apply on your account, but if the account is disconnected, you're not charged for them. Did you see the $600 charge come out of your bank account? The credit you're seeing would be for any prorated amount owed back to you. I can explain this to you in more detail via our Direct Message. Please respond to us there when you have a chance. Thank you!
