Equipment rental dispute
Subject: Active equipment sent to collections under incorrect unit number / ghost account
Message:
Hello, I am seeking assistance from a Digital Care Specialist to recall a false debt from collections.
Hello, I am seeking assistance from a Digital Care Specialist to recall a false debt from collections.
My active account is in good standing, and I currently have all my equipment plugged in and running. However, Valor Intelligent Processing has contacted me regarding a collection balance for "unreturned equipment" tied to a single day of service. The collection notice lists an incorrect unit number that does not match my actual apartment.
It appears a duplicate/ghost account was accidentally created with the wrong unit number, and the equipment was mistakenly flagged as unreturned on that dead account. Because the equipment is active on my real account, I cannot see or resolve this balance on my standard portal. I need someone to audit the equipment serial numbers, verify they are active on my current account, and formally recall this debt from Valor Intelligent Processing. Thank yoh!

Concern moved here to the Billing help section for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.
