Error in payment

I just made a payment, but I paid more than I should have (double) and need to get a refund back to my bank immediately.  I cannot find the hours to speaks to a real agent for assistance and the Xfinity assistant is not understanding my mistake.

Hello, @user_kza46e we have options for overpayments.

If you overpaid in error, you can request a refund for the credit balance resulting from the overpayment. You must contact Xfinity within 15 days of the overpayment and provide documentation to support your claim. If you cannot provide the required documentation, it will take at least 15 days before the refund can be issued. Refunds will typically be applied to the last payment method used, and you will receive an email notification once the refund is processed. For significant overpayments, refunds may take longer depending on the circumstances.

For more details see:

Could you please send our team a direct message with your full name and full address? To send a direct message:

1. In the top right corner, you'll see a little chat icon near the bell icon. Click the direct message icon

2. Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

3. In the 'To' line, type "Xfinity Support" there. A drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list (an "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line)

4. Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

5. Press Enter to send it. An official employee, such as myself or whoever is first available, will respond. Thanks!
