ETF Not Waived For Active Duty Military

I am relocating due to military permanent change of station (PCS) orders and was charged a $100 early termination fee. I went into a store to cancel my account and was told I would not be charged a fee because I am active duty military on PCS orders. I spoked with customer service over the phone today 7/28/26 and was told there was nothing they could do. I empathized they cannot charge me an early termination fee as it goes against the Servicemembers Civil Relief Act (SCRA). The agent would not put me through to a supervisor nor offered any additional help to ensure this is made right.

user_z30y3y. Thank you for your service, and I'm sorry to hear about the frustration you've experienced. I can certainly understand your concern, especially after being advised that the early termination fee would not apply due to your PCS relocation orders. We'd like the opportunity to review this situation further. Could you please send our team a Direct Message with your name and service address? Our team can take a further look at this issue.
