False claims
Hello I have been receiving Xfinity services and was previously happy but I am extremely upset with recent events. Last summer I switched apartments and was assisted at an in person Xfinity store. I was told there were issues transferring over my account information so a new account had to be made. Something was done incorrectly and two separate accounts were made for my same address. One account is fully paid up. Second false account was not paid due to incorrectly made duplicate account. I have spoken with countless representatives through Xfinity yet the issue has not been resolved. Each conversation I have been told it should be resolved, but it has not. Now I have been sent to debt collections over a False bill. This has negatively impacted my credit score.

Just an FYI, whenever you move and retain your Comcast services, you are given a new account number. Why? Because the account number is "tied" to the address, not to the person. That may clear up some of the confusion about your accounts. You have a new account number at your new address and you have your old account number at your former address. When you moved did you put in an address change with the Post Office?
