Formal Billing Dispute — Duplicate $102.44 Charge Following Account Transfer

I am formally disputing a $102.44 balance that was transferred into my current Xfinity account on August 20.

My credit-card records confirm that Xfinity charged me $102.44 on August 19 and an additional $152.51 on September 11.

These two transactions total $254.95, which was the full amount of my previous Xfinity bill.

My first Xfinity bill also explicitly acknowledges the August 19 payment of $102.44, leaving a balance of $152.51, which I subsequently paid.

However, my next Xfinity bill shows an additional $102.44 listed as "Balance Transferred From" another account.

This appears to be a duplicate charge associated with my account transfer.

I am requesting:

  1. A complete transaction history for the account from which the $102.44 was transferred.
  2. An explanation of why this amount was transferred after Xfinity had already received and acknowledged my August 19 payment.
  3. Removal of the $102.44 transferred balance if it represents the payment already made.
  4. Written confirmation of the investigation and any billing correction.

I have documentation showing both credit-card payments and the corresponding Xfinity billing statements.

Please escalate this dispute to a billing specialist who can investigate both accounts, not simply review the current account balance.

That ticket number is: [EDIT: number]

Thanks to anyone who can assist.
