Formal Escalation – Dispute of $100 Technician Service Fee
I am requesting that Xfinity reconsider its denial of my $100 service visit fee dispute.
The technician came into my home, checked my modem, informed me that the modem was not working and needed to be replaced, and then left. No repair was performed. I was not informed before scheduling or during the visit that I would be charged $100.
I contacted Xfinity and a ticket was created, but my request was denied. I am asking for this decision to be reviewed by a billing supervisor.
Please provide the specific reason this charge applies to my visit and a copy of any text, email, order confirmation, or other record showing where I was informed of and agreed to the potential $100 fee before the appointment.
I am requesting a full $100 credit to my account. If this request is denied again, please provide the explanation in writing and the next available escalation process.
Thank you.
