Getting dragged down by a bill I don't have

Hello,

I was an xfinity wifi user three years ago. I returned the wifi box along with the accessories to the store when i moved out of my apartment. For two years I never had any contact from them. But recently I have been receiving calls and texts about a bill I have no reason to have since I ended my service three years ago. I'm confused on why it exists and i'm concerned on how it's affecting my credit.

user_ps3aiy Thanks for reaching out about recent calls for billing concerns when you no longer have any account for a while. This would have me concerned as well, and I'm happy to look into why you are getting them. 

Can you send us a direct message with your full name, name of account holder (if different), and service address please?

To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support:

Click "Sign In" If necessary

Click the "Direct Messaging" icon (speech bubble)

Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person".

Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there

As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list

An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line

Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

Press Enter to send it
