How to determine refund status
I canceled my service but none of the 3 people who were required to do this very complex task, (nor the 4 other people who called to ask if maybe I just wanted some other xfinity product instead of cancelling) bothered to tell me that if you have auto-pay set up they won't be cancelling that - you have to figure out where that is and cancel it yourself! Great job on the customer service there bud!
So they took another month's pay for themselves AFTER CANCELLING MY SERVICES!!! and I once again had to locate the refund request page and file that request myself. Now I have the following email:
"Thank you for submitting a refund request. We'll reach out when your request has been resolved, or within 3 business days if we need additional information.
Thank you for being an Xfinity customer."
It has now been more than 3 business days so it's time to DIY it again - only I can't seem to find anywhere on the fine xfinity website where you can get the status of a refund.
Y'all took my money when you shouldn't have and now you need to give it back. Please advise.
P.S. it is very depressing to see how many of these forum posts are just like this - is cheating your customers the business plan here? Just asking....

Hello, @user_vslggn. Thank you for reaching out on our forums page. In this case, when services are canceled and Auto Pay is still turned on, the payment will still pull for the bill as usual with autopay. If your final bill is less than your normal billing amount, you will be refunded the difference automatically after 30 days. Auto pay does automatically get removed after that final billing as well. Does this clarify everything for you?
