I am being charged for equipment that was never sent to me by xfinity
when i registered for my xfinity account I used a modem given to me by a friend. I used it without problems for several months. When I moved I started getting messages to return equipment. This equipment was the modem my friend gave me - it was never sent to me by xfinity. I am extremely confused, I moved again recently and now xfinity has put a balance on my account for the modem I am currently using. It was already paid for so I don't understand why they want me to pay for it when I didn't get it from them. This is affecting my service and now my account is compromised since whoever is at my last address is using wifi under my name somehow because customer service neglected to move my service to my new address. i was told I have to close my account and they will send me new equipment. This makes no sense at all.
