I changed my internet speed but was billed for the old one

I moved July 1 and updated my plan accordingly. I did have 600 mbps but the day I moved my plan I changed it to 300 mbps. Xfinity automatically began the new speed. On the latest bill, I was still charged for 600 mbps (which I am not receiveing).

How will this be remedied?

user_pjtel0 Hello, and thank you for reaching out via our Xfinity Community Forums. I completely understand your frustration and concern about being charged for a service you're not receiving. I can absolutely help you get this resolved and ensure your bill accurately reflects your 300 Mbps plan.

To assist you further, could you please send me a direct message with your full name and service address? Once I have that information, I can look into your account and get this sorted out for you right away.

To send a "Direct Message":

Click "Sign In" if necessary

Click the "Direct Messaging" icon at the top of the page (it looks like a text bubble)

Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

Type "Xfinity Support" in the "To:" line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list that appears. The "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line

Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

Press Enter to send it
