I returned my wifi and cable box to Xfinity in person 4/28. Since then they have stolen over $800 in 4 payments.

4/15/26 - usual monthly payment paid automatically from our visa.

4/27- I returned my cable box and modem to Xfinity in person.

I later received a statement dated 4/27 that I have a credit for $222.44.

4/27 -  paid XC services (Levi is the tech I've been speaking with) the same day that I returned the equipment because I needed to access some old emails. Levi said he could help get the emails, but I had to pay $241.27 because I was no longer a customer, which I did with a different visa than the one that our monthly payment is charged to. I did not get the emails.

4/29 - $106.99 charged to visa by Xfinity

5/4 - Received email from Xfinity that I have an $18 credit

5/15 - $202.75 charged to visa by Xfinity

6/23 - $99.65 charged to my visa by Xfinity

6/29 - $201.65 charged to my visa by Xfinity

7/7 - email from collections agency hired by Xfinity to collect $25.80 that Xfinity thinks it is owed. I contested this with the collections agency the same day via email. I have not heard from them about anything

My husband was diagnosed with cancer in January and has been undergoing chemo treatments every 2 weeks. I have not been able to follow up as much as necessary during this time but I have spent at least 15 hours trying to get my money back.

I have been speaking with Levi at XC services ([Edited: "Personal Information"]) many many times in the last 3 months. He said he was taking my complaint to the billing and security department but I never heard anything from Xfinity.

On 7/10 I spoke with Supervisor Sam at Xfinity. #[Edited: "Personal Information"]. The email I received from Xfinity said that Someone would be calling me within 3 business days. I'm still waiting.

7/17 - Texted Xfinity, chatted with UDIT(the human). Xfinity will call me back 7/18 to fix the problem. Still waiting.

7/20- I disputed the visa charges above with Chase Visa.

7/20- I disputed the visa charges for my emails from XC Services.

Levi and I believe that I am owed: $222.44 credit from the returned equipment, and the stolen payments of $106.99, $202.74, $99.65 and $201.65 for a total of $833.48.

PLUS the $241.27 that I paid XC services for my old emails which I never got.

Total $1,074.75.

I want a letter sent to the collection agency and myself saying this was sent incorrectly.

I want a letter sent to all 3 credit reporting companies (Experian, Equifax and TransUnion) and myself stating that my being sent to collections was in error. I have an excellent credit rating that this can affect.

I have spent a minimum of 15 hours on this stupid issue that I should be spending with my dying husband. I WILL be taking you to small claims court for payment of my time. I'm estimating $100/hour for 15 hours.

I have been very patient but I'm done with that.

A response would be appreciated.
