I was sent to collections

I closed my old bank account and I moved my payments to my new account. I never realized that I was getting emails in my spam saying that payments weren't going through. I have now been sent to collections and I need to know if there is a way I can get it reversed. I'm fine with paying fees or whatever but I'm trying to buy a house soon and can't have my credit score destroyed by this.

Click "Sign In" if necessary
Click the "direct messaging" icon or https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging
Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
Type "Xfinity Support" in the "To:" line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list which appears. The "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
Press Enter to send it
