iPad Scam

I just signed up to the free ipad promo thinking it’s included in my service. I paid $60 for taxes and shipping, but don’t want need the iPad. I want to cancel before it even gets to me. Please advise.

Been fighting this for a week.  Mom thought she was getting something for free.  $54 bill came in overdue.  I was able to get line cancelled but can't return iPad.  Pay the $54 and we will send you an email with a return label.  Never came.  Send it my email, never came.  Went to the store, told them just give us the address to return iPad, we will pay it.  Because we paid the $54 like we were told, it's doesn't come up on the app. Just let me know an address, can't do that.  [Edited: Language]?  Spent another hour with chat assistance trying to resolve this. (Their customer representatives from overseas?) They told me that shows zero use, yeah, it's because my dad just died and trying to resolve other more important things then dealing with an unused iPad I can't return.  Because I know infinity looks at this, The Ref claim is [Edited: "Personal Information"].  My mom is [Edited: "Personal Information"].  Her email is [Edited: "Personal Information"].  If I don't see the return label in next 24 hours will contact the Better Business Bureau to warn others.

I wanted to upgrade my internet so I asked the chat agent to help me. He (Raul) told me he could do the following: This is from the original chat on 5/26/25: 
RAUL: Yes, with this deal you will get Brand new iPad (A16)10:13:58 You will get 1100 MBPS speed + XFI complete (Unlimited data) + FREE access for Peacock Premium + Brand new iPad (A16) and your bill will be $95.42/month with autopay and paperless discount using bank account.10:14:28 As it's a bundle deal and iPad is included in the plan cost.10:15:05 Your monthly bill will be $95.42/month including all taxes and fees.10:15:36 For Internet + Unlimited data + iPad + Free access for Peacock Premium = $95.42/month.

So... I didn't expect a bill for mobile. When I upgraded my internet modem the sales person on chat offered me a new ipad at no cost. It was never explained to me that I was actually opening a new mobile service.

Also, when I tried to have this situation fixe by returning the iPad and canceling the mobile line I was on with 7 differnet agents and transferred back and forth from mobile to internet agents multiple times. I was on the chat from 12:45 ontil 4:33. THAT IS OVER 4 HOURS!!!! That is ridiculous!

Also the final agent said this: (from the actual chat)

Vrundali,: I have successfully created a ticket for you. Once the return of the iPad is complete, please return the iPad at your nearest Xfinity store, and the refund will be processed within 2 business days.
I will also credit the activation charge. The $25 will be credited to you.
May I know until when you can return the iPad? 
(I said I would return it that night.)
Yes, sure! I would request you to please return the iPad today. We have already processed the return, and once done, the store representative will process your refund as well. I have canceled the order through the dedicated team.
So, I took the iPad to the Xfinity store immediatly and they said they have no record of the ticket or the cancellation.
There were 2 charges on my account. One for $51.21 and one for $54.42. I would like these refunded along with and other charges related to this iPad and mobile line.
