issues with bill among other things
First off I want to state that I am trying to be patient but it's exceedingly difficult to get support and many times it ends up making things worse or fixing an issue but creating multiple more issues due to misunderstandings I'm guessing but the fact that when there's an issue every time speaking to a new person that may or may not understand the issue thus complicating the problem it eventually just gets to be too much, to the point where I'm unsure it'll even get resolved. I found a post similar to my question and theytold them to message staff so I did that but was told I'm not allowed lol I'll post my message and hopefully someone will help me out Hello, I am looking for some support but every time i speak with someone i feel like i make one step forward and 2-3 steps backwards.. Our bill was high and i was told a long time ago i was on a non-promotional type of plan where we knew the price and that it would not change, well it did so we decided to be able to afford it and stick with xfinity we would drop some of the channels, so while we were dealing with alot of outages and issues in the area (with a ton of down time a couple months ago) I talked with someone on the phone that signed me up with a new plan that supposidly " was not a promotional offer, and would be 199.99 a month", and the following month it was 199.99 just like i was told, that was awesome.. then the following month bam it was 250$ like [Edit: Language]? well i just can't believe anything from them anymore and most of my family wants me to just cancel xfinity altogether.. personally I want to figure something out I do wish to keep the high speed internet, the same internet we currently have but im thinking we just need to drop cable altogether, we're also being charged for what looks like multiple pieces of equipment (renting?) that we've told people over the phone multiple times that we do not own (pretty sure a tech took it when they replaced it a very long time ago, but not sure) but we're just tired of being nickled and dimed for things that we're not even using over the years.. We have stuck with xfinity for a very long time and do wish to remain but its getting a bit rediculous when we never know what crazy amount the next bill is going to be, especially when its just entertainment stuff we barely ever use (except for the internet, TV we might not even use at all in a month) and the cost is borderline if not equal to a car payment.. lol If someone could help me out tho i would greatly appreciate it, as saying the bill is going to me 199.99 (fees included) and then it jumping 50$ (pretty much close to what we were paying before we removed a bunch of channels to lower the cost, so we basically ended up paying near the same price for much less which was not a good thing) so we would like to get just the highest speed internet in our area, and no TV or anything else so we can have a non fluctuating bill that we can depend on being static and not jumping around month-to-month.. thanks Again my family wants me to sort this out or cancel entirely..I really enjoy the internet and would prefer to stay but if I can't figure things out I'll have to go elsewhere. Thanks
