Lost check

I am a disabled veteran. I have lost my job due to DOGE cuts, and my unemployment has run out. I was able to secure help with my bill from my states veterans administration.  They sent a check to a address in Illinois, and the check has been lost. Please review my xfinity chats for specific details, but I need help finding this $600.00 check. I can not receive or make calls due to my phone being cut off. Please help. I need  my phone for emergencies,  due to my disability, and looking for a job.

 Thanks for reaching out to us we do apologize for any Inconvenience you mentioned you mailed a physical check in to Xfinity to pay for your services When the check was mailed to the Xfinity  did you include and detach the bottom of the portion of your bill that includes your account information?

 

 If you did that the payment will get posted to your account once it's received,  so it all depends on mailing time and the good old U.S. Postal service.  How long has it been since the check was mailed out to Xfinity ?

@ xfinityOrlandoM the check was mailed September 4th 2025. I know the post office is slow, but I can't imagine they are that slow. And yes, all pertinent information was included with the check. I won't have access to your chats or your information here on the public forums. Generally when you mail out checks it's all dependent on the US Postal Service. Did you have any kind of tracking information from your mail delivery to see if it's been delivered to Xfinity and what address it was sent to?

Since it was mailed out in September it could have been lost in the mail or went to the incorrect address, if you don't see it posted on your account now so you may need to reach out to your states veteran administration have them run a stop-payment on the check and reissue another one.

 

 And make sure you use the cut off portion that's on your Xfinity bill and then inclose that with your payment when you mail it out
