Loyal customer since 2015 but they Increased price for a gig plan

Loyal customer since 2015. Moved from a

LA to VA in 2022 but kept Xfinity as my provider even though the Verizon Fios is famous in my area. Now Xfinity kept on icreasing my plan price. It was under $50 for 500mbps and I was extremely happy with the stability and speed. Then they increased to $70 with 1gbps plan and I felt uncomfortable but then thought about gig speed and got okay with that last year. Now today 08/08/2026, Xfinity increased my rate to $120 per month for the gig speed. I would like to go back to 500mbps under $50 per month since I use my own modem and I'm anyway getting 500mbps on 1gig speed since I used old modem.

I would request someone to help me. I chatted with Xfinity customer service and they offered $80 for 500mbps which is insane. Xfinity offers new customer 1gbps for $50 with 5 years price lock (contract) but they don't care about existing and loyal customer!! Seriously, their marketing department needs to learn to retain existing customers rather than building new customers base. It's ridiculous!!

Somebody help me please 🥺 🙏 Thanks much in advance.
