Maintaining A Credit Balance

I am trying g to make a payment even though I have a credit balance however Xfinity is not letting me make that payment because it would exceed payment due. When did this change? I've always maintained a credit payment so that if anything happened and I couldnt pay one month, I wouldn't need to worry about my service.

I would like to make an overpayment and pay I advance like I always have done. Please help.

Hey there, user_461znf! Thank you so much for taking the time to reach out to us here on the Xfinity Forums. That is certainly strange, and there is a precaution mentioned for customers making two payments of the same amount on the same day. Have you already processed 1 payment of the same amount? If not, how are you attempting to process the payment? If you are using the App, have you attempted to access the payment options on a web browser?
