New customer charged for tech visit

Hello, good morning, evening, whatever it may be for you lol! About a month ago I switched to Comcast and needed a coaxial outlet installed but was not aware I would be charged $100 for the technician visit! Its completely understandable but I was totally under the impression it was complimentary. I am upset and behind on money because of this. Please help me dispute this and receive a credit reimbursal for this.

@user_caf6ho  Thanks for reaching out for support with that credit. I have a link to share with more details on potential chargers and how to prepare for a technician visit with Xfinity https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/prepare-for-your-service-visit

*Potential charges Service visits may include a fee: If a technician is required to complete an installation, a $100 charge will apply. If the technician finds that the reported service issue isn’t related to Xfinity services or rental equipment, a $100 charge will apply. This fee is waived for existing customers who are having an Xfinity related service issue.

I am happy to see what options we have for you.

Can you please direct message me your first and last name along with your full service address so I can assist you further?
