Overcharged for Service
I am being charged incorrectly for a technician service that was needed. The lines in my apartment were down and Xfinity was unable to resolve them remotely myself, so I couldn't install it myself as I had planned to. So the agent I was on the phone with scheduled me a service appointment and made clear I wouldn't be charged. Now I'm seeing a $100 charge on my account. I contacted an agent yesterday about that and they said they would waive the fee. The ticket was unapproved. I'm not paying for $100 service when the problem was on YOUR end. I'm paying for your internet services and I couldn't even use the modem until the tech came out. Please help me resolve this or I will take my business elsewhere.

Hi there, @user_sn1u0n! Thanks for reaching out to us here on the Community Forum. Typically, if a tech is needed to connect or work on lines to establish signal/service, that is a chargeable visit. However, we would like to go over the situation to verify see what was done. Please send a direct message to us by clicking the chat icon in the upper right corner of the page, click on the pen and paper icon, then enter “Xfinity Support” in the “To” section. Please include your full name and complete street address.
