Overcharged for services - company raises prices for loyal customers instead of rewarding loyalty

I have been a customer for ten years and have trusted the company to provide me good service at a fair rate.

I pay $300 for cable and internet service through xfinity. After comparing other local providers I found similar service for $80 a month.

I called to cancel only to be told that they can lower my bill and that if i was unsatisfied I should have called sooner. They were unwilling to refund or credit any of my overpayment and they say it’s my fault for not calling sooner.

This is predatory. The company should charge a fair price for services and not hike up prices until you go into debt because your can’t pay an internet bill.

I am disappointed that they see loyalty as a chance to raise prices and are unwilling to work with long time customers and instead [Edit: Language] them over with sneaky pricing.

I will talk to another representative then will take my loyalty to a provider who provides fair rates and honors their long time customers.

They did not help. They do not care.
Terrible business practices.
AT&T, Frontier and DIRECTV all have superior service and pricing.
take your business elsewhere

will be canceling as soon as my new service is installed.
