user_cor6rt Great question! When it comes to billing and credits on the account if your account is still active the credit will be applied to your following statement. Should your account be disconnected and an overpayment is processed you can get the refund in 30-days or less.

user_cor6rt I'm sorry we didn't expand on the refund process / expectation.

There are a few ways the refund can be processed. If the credit balance on your closed account is the same or less than the last payment processed on the account the refund will be credited back to that payment method. The refund can take 4-6 weeks to be processed.

If you leased any equipment from Xfinity, that will have to be returned before the refund will be processed.

Here's where it can be tricky. If the refund balance is more than the last payment received or the payment method (bank/credit account) is closed you will receive an email with the option to claim the refund online. By claiming the refund you can enter a bank account to receive a refund, or opt for a prepaid card. If you don't response to the email, a prepaid card will be mailed in 7-15 business days.

Considering your account was closed on 10/4 it can take up to another 3 weeks to process.
