Past Due

I have been sent to collections for a bill I do not owe and I can't get anyone to help me. The "collection agency" notified me they are not a collection agency in the conventional sense and cannot help with my bill. I have to speak with Comcast. HELP!!!

"Search for Xfinity Support" won't work. To send a "Direct Messaging" message to Xfinity Support:


 • Click "Sign In" if necessary


 • Click the "Direct Messaging" icon or https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging


 • Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon


 • The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there


 •  - As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list


 •  - An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line


 • Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window


 • Press Enter to send it

I have the same issue as the writer of the original message. When I go to Xfinity direct messaging on my computer and click on the mail icon, it takes me to using and managing Xfinity email accounts. It does not give me the option to send a message. The person on the live chat is of no help whatsoever. They are telling me to just ignore all of this. They do not understand the significance of a collection agency placing a ding on your credit report. Help!

I am having the same issue. Cancel my Comcast a year and a half ago. Have never received a notice saying anything was due, received nothing from the collection agency and now I have a hit on my credit report. Live chat is proving to be useless, they just keep saying I don't owe anything and to ignore it. I can't ignore this!
