payment arrangement

i have been through an endless frustrating loop. i tried the app, i tried online on the website, i tried to call to talk to a human nothing.

i just want to set a simple payment arrangement. it keeps saying that "Your user role doesn't have access to manage this account's billing preferences.". There are no other users this is my account and I am the owner. I don't see options to change my role. I tried everything.

really thinking of canceling xfinity over this

To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support:

Click "Sign In" if necessary

Click the "Direct Messaging" icon or  https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging

Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there

- As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list

- An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line

Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

Press Enter to send it.
