Professional Install charges
Why should I have to pay professional installation charges when no professional installation would have been necessary if the Xfinity store had given me the correct type of boxes to begin with. I had to made repeated calls for assistance and drove to the Xfinity store twice to receive two sets of boxes that would not work with the system Xfinity had in my house. The "professional installer" couldn't make them work either after repeated tries. All he ultimately did was provide the correct type of box. This was clearly Xfinity's fault. It cost me many hours of time and frustration before Xfinity finally sent out an installer to correct the problem of its own making. This is unacceptably terrible customer service followed by a demand for me to pay for Xfinity's incompetence.

Good Afternoon, @user_pbup85! Thank you so much for taking the time to reach out to us here on the Xfinity Forums! I am very sorry to hear about the experience with getting the services started with us, it certainly is not what we want for our customers. Typically, there would be a charge for the failed self-install, but your situation is certainly unique with the attempts to resolve it. I would like to look deeper into the account with you.

Xfinity did make this right and dropped the charges for me. So, all is resolved.
