Promotion Fraud

My bill went up for my internet service, so I went to the online chat to ask for any current promotions that could be applied. I was offered $60 a month for 5 years to which  agreed. I told the agent, hey this agreement doesn’t show the correct monthly charge to which they said don’t worry it will be updated after I apply the promotional discount. I clicked agree and waited for the promotion to be added, I let them know it was still showing the wrong price. And then the representative said no worries it takes the system 24 hours to update. Well that was 3 days ago, so I decided to call in to customer service and was told no promotion exists for them to apply and none was ever applied to my account. They stated that another team would be investigating, and that they do not accept this kind of behavior of misleading their customers. To which I say, bologna. I have read several forum posts now that stay the same bait and switch has happened to them. Oh and my old plan is no longer available. Don’t worry xfinity I downloaded my transcript and screenshots, and will be notifying the FCC if you can’t correct this “error” that your online reps continue to make.
