For those who are looking to do the same. Do not believe the customer service agent when they say they will remove the collection from your credit report, the agent is lying. You’re better off negotiating a pay for delete with the collection agency, that way the collection is not just marked $0 but actually removed from your credit report.

Here are the detailed steps to direct message us:
Click "Sign In" if necessary.
Click the "Direct Messaging" icon.
Click the "Start new conversation" (pencil and paper) icon.
In the "To:" line, type "Xfinity Support."
As you type, a drop-down list will appear. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list.
An "Xfinity Support" graphic will replace the "To:" line.
Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window.
Press Enter to send it.
