Scammed by NOW Mobile
I made a post a few weeks ago about making 3 payments (2 through cashapp, 1 though paypal) to now mobile because they claimed they weren’t receiving the payments. I ended up contacting them after being told i’d be contacted and never was. I was able to make a 4th payment through paypal which went they finally said they got. I was affirmed i’d be refunded & that everything would be taken care of. When it wasn’t I made the post on here. I was reached out to by xfinity worker that saw the forum post. I showed them everything from the xfinity assistant convo saying i’d be refunded. I gave them screenshots of the convos with cashapp telling me to give xfinity the transaction ID’s and did that for both the payments I made with cashapp and the one with paypal. They said they’d escalated it to their billing department to look into it. They said I’d be contacted by 5/4/2026 & I never was. I reached out this morning & they told me they never got the other payments. Even though I made them ON THEIR XFINITY APP & ONE WAS MADE WITH A LINK THEIR XFINITY ASSISTANT SENT TO MY EMAIL. & CONFIRMED HE GOT. Then the agents after that 2nd payment claimed they didn’t get it. They told me I had to reach out to CashApp & PayPal even though I already did & like it shows on my end on both cashapp & paypal, they each said the payments were completed & had to of been received by xfinity to be completed. I am 100% convinced i’ve been scammed by Xfinity NOW Mobile. I have been with Xfinity for years & this is insane for them to claim they only got the 4th of 4 payments made to them when the institutions i’ve made the payments with confirmed they went through, I provided proof I was told I’d be refunded. I provided proof of payments. Be weary of Xfinity & making payments on their app. I wouldn’t be surprised at this point if I was scammed by Xfinity if someone within xfinity using their system to fraud customers. This is beyond a joke & Ive now had to make 2 disputes with cashapp. 1 for each of the 2 payments made through them & another dispute made through paypal. I will 100% be looking for another phone service to use. It [Edited: "Language"] because I was hoping to be able to upgrade to xfinity mobile which it said I could do after having NOW Mobile for a certain period of time & keep my mobile & internet with one provider but it seems that won’t be the case anymore. I’m tired of these big companies ripping us regular people off & getting away with it. Every instance I was told I’d be reached out to never came to fruition & I had to always check back in at least 4 times. I was told i’d be refunded MULTIPLE TIMES just for the to say I won’t be cause they can’t find the payments that were definitely completed to them. Which was confirmed by both cashapp & paypal & now they have to look into what the problem is with xfinity now mobile and why they’re claiming they didn’t receive payments that went through on their end & couldn’t be processed without xfinity approving the payments. ai take care of my elderly father I cannot afford to lose $75 to a company that cannot keep track of the payment they receive & have multiple agents that clearly lie to appease a customer for the time being. How do you not recieve a payment that your own agents sent me the link to my email to pay / were made through your apps?!
