Still being charged despite closing Xfinity mobile account
Hello, I recently closed my Xfinity Mobile account. One of the promotions I had was a free smartwatch that was paid off through monthly promotional credits. Before canceling my plan, I paid off the smartwatch I actually received so that the cancellation process would be straightforward.
My issue is with the original smartwatch that was shipped to me. It was lost in transit through FedEx, and Xfinity subsequently sent me a replacement, which I received and still have.
I recently noticed that I have continued to be charged for the original smartwatch that was lost in shipping. I previously spoke with an Xfinity representative about this issue and was told that the charges for the lost device would be removed and that I would be reimbursed for the accumulated charges.
However, I have now received another upcoming charge that still includes the lost smartwatch, along with an additional standalone mobile fee associated with it.
I should not be responsible for charges related to a device that was lost in transit and never received. I have documentation confirming that the original device was lost in shipping, as well as my previous chat with an Xfinity representative confirming that these charges would be removed.
I would like the lost/“ghost” device and its associated mobile line/fee completely removed from my account, along with reimbursement or a credit for all charges that were incorrectly billed for it.
Thank you for your help.
