Stole My Money and Won’t Return

Was to refund my money last week. Didn’t. Then said in 4-5 hours. Didn’t. Then talked to 5 different “people” who all said different things. Still no money. They took my money fraudulently really fast, but keep saying they’ll give it back but don’t. Plus, I moved and because they don’t offer internet service in my area, they raised my phone bill as a punishment? Literally said because they didn’t offer internet at my new home they would be charging my phone account $20 more a month. Awful!! Find a different provider at all costs. I’ve now filed a complaint with bank for fraudulent charges from them. (I screen shot every single message between customer service and myself for proof.)

No thank you. I’ve tried too many times and been lied to every time. I’ll pursue filing a formal

complaint and with the bank.

@user_e5i5u4 How did this work out for you? Did you have any retaliation from xfinity?

Xfinity stole over $400 out of my account and refuse to refund it. The agent did it to pay off a device I had on payment installments. She did not ask my permission to pay it in full. I requested to speak with a supervisor repeatedly but they keep dodging my calls. It’s illegal to take money out of customers bank accounts unauthorized. I did not give her permission nor discuss with her to pay my device in full. Find yourself a different service before you get scammed. Now I have to get an attorney to get my money back.

The exact same thing is happening to me. I was charged a one time fee of $224 for a storm ready wifi device that I returned due to it not working. I have called in and chatted with reps 8 separate times. Finally got them to send me a refund request via email but keep hearing different times for the refund issue. 3-5 business days. 48 hours. 24 hours. 6 hours. Still nothing. Will also be filing a complaint with my bank at the minimum, will look into reporting this to authorities somehow. [Edited: "Solicitation"]

Xfinity keeps taking down my link to the government complaint website, but it's not hard to find, it's the Internet crime complaint center run by us gov
