The balance of my Bill just keeps randomly increasing

How come my past due payment is becoming more and more expensive at first you were asking for at minimum 125 to 250 to restore service now you're asking for 665,  for context my service cut off July 19 and total balance was 423.29 as of now as I'm posting this (july 30) the total balance is 959.34 I don't what happend to make it go from 400s straight to 900 with in 11 days but this usually tends an issue in which I'll pay the bill for the month and stuff get cut off but most of the times the price to get turnt back on is usually around 125 and most 250 and in other cases its just a mistake thats resolved over phone call but when I called about this issue the representative wasn't really helpful at all. But as of today the asking price to have my service restored is specifically 668.78.

I just wanna know what it is specifically that caused this massive and frankly ludicrous jump in my bills, please respond to this asap.
