Tricked to sign in a new plan by chat agent

I reached out to Xfinity chat agent and see if there’s a new promotion for existing customers, since my promotion ended. Chat agent offered me a 5 years deal for $105, and told me it can reduce to the price range after 14 days...after a long chat. But it was a trick and lie, when I called back Xfinity the same day, the live agent told me there’s nothing like that, and asked me to call back in 14 days and see what that offer in s new month. I am afraid I get stuck with a plan I cannot really afford.

Concern moved here to the Billing help section for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

Also I don't want to bring this  matter to FCC either, if I don't have to.
