Trying to cancel internet service

Tried to cancel my internet service with an online agent.  They gave me a link that referred me to the store or to schedule a call.

Went to the store website through Google maps it said I could cancel through the Xfinity assistant.

Scheduled a call, but can't get a call back until next week.

I don't want to wait until next week!

What do I have to do to cancel this service?

I've never had a great connection during the time I've had service.  Another option recently became available, so I went with it.
